TVSMILES GmbH was launched with the intention of redefining the world of digital advertising. And after the success of the TVSMILES mobile app, in August 2016 we officially launched our second product: KWIZZAD.
With KWIZZAD, we are defining the future of digital advertising. We are taking the experience of our quiz-based advertising format and offering this to publishers via our own SDK, so that any digital publisher can benefit from our unique advertising platform.
TVSMILES GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2013. To date, we have prepared and delivered over 6,000 campaigns for numerous, internationally-renowned brands and employ a team of over 50 members of staff.
Following the successful completion of his A-levels, Heins passed his obligatory military service with the marines, serving at the Federal Ministry of Defence in Bonn.
Shortly thereafter, Heins founded an internet agency in 1996 and undertook a traineeship in publishing. Further training, however, lead Heins away from print media and into the world of television. As a member of the management board, Heins worked to build-up the most successful European interactive TV channel, 9Live, between 2002 and 2004. After stepping-down from 9Live, Heins founded the iTV Gesellschaft für interaktiven Medienmehrwert mbH, a consultancy for the TIME sectors (telecommunication, information technology, media and entertainment).
Over the course of the next 9 years, he went on to advise numerous companies listed on the stock exchange, including ProSiebenSat.1 AG, E-Plus (Telefonica/o2) and Bertelsmann as well as smaller companies and startups, such as Fashionette, MyParfum and GETTINGS. Heins’ consultation focused on the areas of innovation, new business development, data-driven commercialisation, customer retention (CRM) and interim management.
In September 2014, Heins stepped down from the management board at iTV GmbH and over took the on-going management of TVSMILES GmbH
