TVSMILES GmbH was launched with the intention of redefining the world of digital advertising. And after the success of the TVSMILES mobile app, in August 2016 we officially launched our second product: KWIZZAD.
With KWIZZAD, we are defining the future of digital advertising. We are taking the experience of our quiz-based advertising format and offering this to publishers via our own SDK, so that any digital publisher can benefit from our unique advertising platform.
TVSMILES GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2013. To date, we have prepared and delivered over 6,000 campaigns for numerous, internationally-renowned brands and employ a team of over 50 members of staff.
Following the successful completion of his A-levels, Heins passed his obligatory military service with the marines, serving at the Federal Ministry of Defence in Bonn.
Shortly thereafter, Heins founded an internet agency in 1996 and undertook a traineeship in publishing. Further training, however, lead Heins away from print media and into the world of television. As a member of the management board, Heins worked to build-up the most successful European interactive TV channel, 9Live, between 2002 and 2004. After stepping-down from 9Live, Heins founded the iTV Gesellschaft für interaktiven Medienmehrwert mbH, a consultancy for the TIME sectors (telecommunication, information technology, media and entertainment).
Over the course of the next 9 years, he went on to advise numerous companies listed on the stock exchange, including ProSiebenSat.1 AG, E-Plus (Telefonica/o2) and Bertelsmann as well as smaller companies and startups, such as Fashionette, MyParfum and GETTINGS. Heins’ consultation focused on the areas of innovation, new business development, data-driven commercialisation, customer retention (CRM) and interim management.
In September 2014, Heins stepped down from the management board at iTV GmbH and over took the on-going management of TVSMILES GmbH
After completing his initial studies in Cologne, Gabriel Demirci went on to study business administration, before successfully graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in European Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.

Before joining TVSMILES, Demirci worked as a strategic consultant, helping companies adjust their business models and to optimise business processes in a time of accelerating digital transformation.
As CPO and Co-Founder of TVSMILES GmbH, Gaylord Zach leads the product development department as well as all of TVSMILES’ technical ventures. Zach studied computer engineering at Berlin’s Technical University, eventually graduating with a Diploma of Engineering. Shortly thereafter, Zach founded a company providing specialist software solutions, which would eventually become LOGandGo GmbH (EventKingdom GmbH today), a Berlin-based provider of banking and messaging services.
In 2001, Zach introduced mobile internet services to eplus, Vodafone Live and Jamba. Between 2005 and 2010, Zach built-up TV production company OstrichMedia Ltd., a London-based venture that was eventually acquired by Buongiorno SpA in 2008.
From 2010 to 2011, Zach worked in San Francisco as co-founder and CTO of TVmoment Inc., where he focused primarily on the new trend topics of second-screen and social TV. Following the successful sale of the technology he developed, including many outstanding patents for the synchronization of live TV and internet content, Zach moved back to Berlin in 2011.
After acquiring his A-levels in Saxony-Anhalt, René Ludewig studied German and European Economic Law at the University of Siegen. Graduating in 2006, he was awarded a Diploma in Economic Law, attaining an academic grade.

Parallel to providing yield and taxable revenue consultation, as well as compiling annual company statements, Ludewig focused on participating in due diligence processes. Here, René became predominantly involved in the consultation of an international client base, including a large portfolio of clients active in the growing digital economy.
